    I think the 1521 is the better config here; specially with Vista you'll want that 2GB RAM over the small processor and GPU gains (Though I'm not totally sure about the performance of ATI GPUs).

    depends what you want to do with the computer..do you want to play games? the integrated video on the 1521 sucks...dont expect to play anything new unless you put it on low...

    the video on the vostro you have chosen is much better, but not the best you can get...128mb 8400 gs is decent..but not a good long-term choice either...i'd spend the extra 100-200 dollars and get a brand new vostro...

    if you dont want to play games...then the 1521 is better in all the other specs...speed, memory, harddrive space

    also do you guys think the laptops in the dell outlet mostly have grainy screens? is there any chance that i might get an LG screen
