Considering the XPSes are hideously expensive in the UK and the M1530 still doesn't come with an LED screen, I took the plunge on the Studio 15.
Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz
2GB RAM
Standard jet black finish (I think it looks nicest)
1440x900 LED screen
X3100 Integrated graphics
Everything else as standard
Yeah, I'm on a budget. Came to just over £500 in total.
Oh, and one question: Does Dell still ship those horrid Samsung screens? My 640m Samsung screen long ago bit the dust and it was never good even when it did work.
Any comments, questions?

Did you get the backlit keyboard .. 10pounds if you call in.. if so could you post the part number please?

I didn't call in about that. I saw the thread on here but TBH I'm not that bothered about all the backlit keyboard. Maybe it'll come as standard like the US site though... we'll have to wait and see. I might post a mini-review once I get my laptop.

Congrat's on your purchase! I can't wait to see your *mini-review* once you receive it!
