...and now I have spent the last 150 minutes with 4 different Dell people trying to find an activation key so I can reinstall Dell PC Tune Up. :(

I am going to go insane.

It's punishment for not wanting a pc with bloatware on it, I just know it!

I haven't used Dell PC Tune Up, but I can't imagine it's that important.

I had to do some things to get my computer to sleep correctly after reinstalling vista. The dell dock can be downloaded on dell's website so that part was easy. The sleeping part took a little more digging. The fingerprint reader driver is on the drivers disc but I haven't really messed with that at all.

To everyone that told me to look under my battery, I want to really really congratulate you on readying my post so well...
"to find an activation key so I can reinstall Dell PC Tune Up".

Your answer would have been swell if I would have posted "to find an activation key so I can reinstall VISTA"

Secondly, thanks also a ton to people who hijacked the thread to talk about the fingerprint reader. You all succeed in "fail".

chaugh, i had the same issue, but i found an earlier post that mentions you have to search the Dell site and look for Stardock Dell Dock, which is an earlier version. Install the Stardock first, then the one you are trying now. This worked for me.
