So after freaking out on that Dell 1400 picture, I'm glad to say I have NO problems.

Battery wobbling. I have to press it a bit and then it moves a TINY TINY amount. And this is with some work. I can clearaly say "No battery wobble" with my 6 cell battery. 9 cell battery is currently...stowed away so I haven't tried that so that's another day.

Keyboard. Nice. Touchpad, Feels a bit dry, perhaps a better fix would be me using more lotion

No screen bleeding either. Seems perfectly fine

Unless someone can tell me otherwise from my pictures.

I don't see anything wrong with that picture.

    Or this one

The white spots are merely a crude way to get rid of possible personal information :)

I don't feel that there was anything unexpected. Though the top cover DOES get fingerprints. I don't have any problems as of yet. Aero glass works fine, no lagginess because of Vista.

I checked the relative looseness of the compartments and found nothing worrisome. The one thing I HAVEN'T tested is the headphone jacks. I'm happy with my purchase and have not regretted getting this. Mind you, I didn't want to get an Inspiron because they were all the same color (but with that whole color delays thing freaked me out so I decided to get the Vostro), but at least black is different and nicer looking.

    So any questions?

About the light bleed...can you take a picture of your LCD screen using this as your background?

Before you do that, set the taskbar on auto-hide. (right click task bar, properties, alto hide task bar)

    Thanks

here's mine.. 1400 xga+ depends on the angle of the camera...giving different shots...but this is the best shot i can take that minimizes the bleeding

It's weird...I have a worse case of backlight bleed when I'm in a really bright room (ex: my sunlit porch). When I look at the picts taken by the camera, the picts usually make the backlight bleed seem worse.

    BTW mxl180, I can't see your picture.

Yeah. I have NO noticeable bleed but with my camera it looks like crap. Seriously.

I'm gonna post pictures in the morning since I want to do some other stuff with my camera atm
