The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. When was the replacment ordered? Did you get an estimated ship date for the replacement, like in the order confirmation of the exchange? There are some out there that have been waiting almost 2 weeks or more for a replacement so I highly doubt it, but I don't think it will take as long as people who have been waiting for their first order
I filed for the replacement friday at 2:00 AM. But just today I talked to someone in the chat and it finally got an order number and is in build. EST ship date is 8/31
I personally feel that a longer date for a replacement might be beneficial. After all, you already have a system to fine tune and perfect. When the new system comes in, you really only have to switch the hard drive.
I seem to believe that the later the arrival date, in the case of exchanges, the better the build may be as they iron out glitches.
Its not like your waiting without a system; you are still enjoying your original although there are the glitches.
