I made a mistake with my Dell Outlet E1705 (GO) and had $217 of yr accidental damage dialed in. Well my Laptop had already shipped, so I phone to see if I could reverse my error :( . Anyway the rep said, how's about I give you a $150 off and you can keep the 3year accidental damage contract  . The 3 year warranty I wanted was supposed to cost an extra $98. So all she had to do was refund 217 - 98 = $119. Instead she gave me $150 and let me keep the 3 year accidental coverage, and said we want to keep you happy :D

Thats amazing  . I have never had a problem with Dell service (I bought my g/f an inspiron 6000, so the warrenty is in my name). Sometimes they are a bit hard to understand, but no biggie. I have heard the horror stories though, so I hope I am never one of the victims.

Nice deal! i've been pretty pleased with the service I wouldn't say it rocks but is good. I've went through a few keyboards and a few soda spills and they've always got me covered. The best thing about dell is they have great prices, good service and warranty coverage. I just wish they'd get design down I've yet to see a dell I found visually appealing

I agree...that is a great deal. I think Dell has some of the best comps out there. Not many companies would do that for their customers.
