hey fusion, grats on the M17...

as far as laptops goes, they are as good as their ODM's it seems...

we're just sharing opinions about how childish the AW designs look... that's all.. as a professional, and a managing director of a company, despite how much i love technology, i will not, i cannot walk around flashing a laptop with glowing eyes on a little alien head... i just can't...

as for desktops also... it's just plain toy-ish at best.
the insides, i'm sure, are great... and despite the frequent issues many had at the start of the m15x, many still love it and swear by it.

dell made some mistakes also... i'm sure...
dell's designs also were tad too flash as well... hence when i saw the m6400, it was ideal...

i like "bling" as they call it. hence if i get the M6400, i will get the covet... but again... no plastic alien eyes are going to glow in my desk...

<--- a few beers in. Alienware is definitely somehow even crappier than the worst rosewill case I can find.

Kudos to those that have resisted.
