So have the screen and headphone jack problems gotten better/worse/same?

I got a 1500 with no headphone jack or high pitch noise problem and a beautiful wxga+ LG/Philips screen after testing four other vostro 1500s (2 are wxga screen, 2 are wxga+ screen), and the good one I'm keeping is the only one without the headphone jack issue.
