This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Well its still coming tommorow. its less than an hour away from me now...just wish i could pick it up now :)

    I still have to call on getting it shipped to a UPS store..they said something about i cant do it yet

    I cancelled my order yesterday while it was in boxing and re-ordered. Hated to do it but I got the m170 for $1355 in stead of $1614 (and it now includes the DVD burner)!

    Now I have to start the whole waiting process over again.

    I would only save $100 with that deal.

    not worth it at all...oh, and this is my first post from the XPS!

    Alright, typing on mine right now. Although this is a much better keyboard than most laptops I've typed on, it's still a big difference from a normal keyboard.

    I don't know whether to wait and see or get set up to start formatting right away.
