I don't like buying large purchases on Ebay. Maybe I'm just 'chicken'.

My i9300 is off and on it's way back to Dell. Wasn't happy with it.

Hope they credit my dell account by 1/11/06. Here's my next rig, should the credit arrive fast enough.

That's with the $750 off coupon. Starting a 'customize' from the base model and upgrading what I feel is important. As for RAM, I have my 1gig stick still that I removed from my recent model. I upgraded :

    CPU
    Remote for MCE2005
    Hard Drive
    Warranty
    Battery
    Video Card
    LCD

I wish I could get the accidental coverage but.. I'm in the Hurricane Capital of the free world right now so...

    EDIT : Looking at dell's site :

I clicked on 'Save Cart' and it gave me this message :

*name removed *, your cart has been saved to your account. It will expire on January 29, 2006. Items with promotions that end before this date may expire sooner.

Wonder if that saves my price too ?????

well considering you are getting a better system than mine, and alot cheaper :p

It will save the price but if you add to it your cart after the 750 coupon has expired, it will add the 750 back in and you'll have to apply the new coupon.

Nice set-up! I am configuring one same specs but it totaled 2400.00. Waht is the magic setting? Did you stack two 750 coupons?

i have ZERO software upgrades, only hardware. Look carefully at the specs to make sure we have similar specs.

I used the 750 off coupon and my 'dell preferred account' discounts. I think the only discount there is on shipping.

To make your deal even sweater, you can add an additional $100 off $1499 stackable coupon which can be found on Ebay for less then $2.
And don't forget to use Dell Preferred Program for another 2% off.
    Cheers,

    netscorer.
