Be patient! Other companies have leaked laptops that have yet to be found (Asus, Acer, and HP). The Inspiron 1535 is coming, by July it will have been announced.

Well it's hard to say, but if they do replace current inspirons i'll say around 800 for that 1435 and the 1535 would be roughly equivalent to the m1530...minus all those deals of course

I do not like those new Sony-style keyboards. They are more like buttons than keys.

That sounds good, although 4 GB's of RAM sounds a bit overkill (Dell only installs 32-bit versions of Vista that can only "see" about 3 GB of RAM) Besides it's cheaper to just upgrade the RAM yourself, if your comfortable opening up the computer, it really isn't that hard, just a compartment underneath and maybe under the keyboard.

I think the new keyboards will be great. Backlit, chicklet style keys. Typing on the Sony CR series is a treat. Also, very easy to clean, and less prone to garbage.

I just think its going to be a designer notebook. Look sleek and awesome on the outside, but not really THAT powerful on the inside. The graphics card will not be spectacular for gaming like XPS has it, but it will have a decent processor, memory, hard drive, great for graphics artists and video producers. Despite not having everything top of the line and premium like XPS does, its design will be the selling point. Dell probably wants to see how well looks sell above power.

The Inspiron 1535 can be ordered in Europe. Dell Germany and Dell France offer the notebook with e-value code N0753514.

Will the studio 17 come out tomorrow too in the US? Because I can't find any information nor e-value codes about Studio 17 on any Dell websites in Europe.

The 1735 is out in the US.
One complaint I have is the lack of an Intel wireless card. Only Dell N and G.

Looks like I was on the money when it came to pricing of the 1535, but I've been searching around and it looks like that Radeon is even less powerful than an 8400m gs.
