So I was reading, and many problem has problems with their Inspiron 1525 fan. It usually turned on too much or made a lot of noise.

Well I received my Inspiron 1525 about a week ago and noticed the same thing, the fan turned on way too much!

I decided to play around and see if there was anything I could do.

The solution? Turn your battery to "Power Saver" mode.

    Yup, it's easy as that.

I was experimenting, when I put the battery settings to "High performance" the temp of the CPU cores went up to 57-58 degrees Celsius, and that was just when the laptop was idling! I wasn't even doing anything.

Then, I changed the battery setting to "Power Saver" mode and checked the temps 5 minutes later, it was down to 45-46 Degrees Celsius! I did some web browsing, played some music, etc...and guess what? The fan didn't even turn on once! The laptop was nice and quiet.

In conclusion: Just change your battery to "Power Saver" mode and your good to go.

Hope that helps you guys. ;)
