The settings on the Dell Studio 15 i am getting are:

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Processor T6600 (2.20GHz/ 800 FSB/ 2MB Cache)

Operating System: Genuine Windows Vista(R) Ultimate 64 bit SP1 Edition

Display: 15.4 " Widescreen WXGA LED (1280X800) TFT Display with TrueLife(TM) w/ Camera

    Memory: 4GB ( 2 X 2048MB ) Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM

Hard drive: 320GB SATA Hard Drive

Graphic/video Card: 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450

    Wifi Card: Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 (802.11a/g/n) Half Mini-card

Battery: 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery

Wireless Router: Belkin Wireless 802.11g Router

Keyboard: Dell(TM) Keyboard with Touchpad (English)

All up it is costing me $1300 American.

Now my questions to current owners.

    1. How much difference is in the processor between 2.2GHz and 2.4Ghz? Example?

    2. What is the difference between 3gb of ram and 4gb of ram?

    3. Is the graphic card i have chosen good for gaming? And if so what settings/resolution?

    4. How long will a 6-cell Lithium last?

    5. Is the WebCam included in the notebook good quality/ how man MP ?

    6. What is the difference between the wireless Routers: The N1 Vision and the Belkin?

Thank you for your time and please if you can answer these questions (with the number next to the answer) that would help me out so much.

    Thank you

You won't notice much difference between the two processors.

More RAM will allow you to run more programs simultaneously.

The ATI card is not the best for gaming, but you will get away with most games with the card. Settings depend on the game.

The six cell lasts about 2.25 - 2.5 hours depending on your settings.

It's about 1.3 megapixels, it's not the best but ok for video chat.

I haven't played games on it even though I have TF2 installed.

I really like the red color. I thought it would be too bright and stand out, but the red really looks nice.

Just a quick comment on the red, I recently had to replace my black cover, and opted for a red one. I love it. I think it looks really slick with the rest of the notebooks design.

Unless there is a specific feature you really need vista ultimate probably isn't worth the $150 extra cost... it basically just added the business features missing in the home edition and some animated wallpaper and games. You'd be better off setting the money aside and buying a boxed copy of Windows 7 when it comes out
