im about to buy one of this, so there are few questions to ask:

    1. how long the battery will be last with 6 cells for Intergrated X3100? and for 128M video?

    2. what is the different between Intel® 3945 802.11a/g Mini-card and Dell Wireless 1490 802.11a/g Mini-Card? And what's your suggestion?

    3. The Penryn processor (Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T8300?) is made to save power? (that's what I read somewhere :D)

    4. Red color with Ultimate Vista, is it worth the money?

    5. I'm not gonna play game on this laptop, at least not heavy game (probably FIFA or so), so will you recommend me to go with 128M video? or Integrated X3100 will be fine?

    6. About the LCD, i think I just stick with standard one and save my money. But is it right that LED screen will save you some battery life?

    1. With integrated, I get 3-4 hours. I'm sure x3100 will be at least 4 hours.
    2. I don't think theres any difference between the 2. I suggest getting the wireless N card though.
    3. The new Penryn's save power since they are smaller (45nm vs. 65nm Merom), and waste less power to heat.
    4. If you don't want the red lid, there is no point in going for the Product Red setup.
    5. Depends if you really need as much battery life as possible. I don't suggest gaming on the m1330 anyways, but the dedicated card could be useful for movie playback (Not sure if x3100 supports HD).
    6. The battery life difference between the 2 LCDs are minimal. Depends if you want the reduction in thickness and weight. Note that the thinner display will flex.

    5. If you wan't to play ANYTHING at all then you should go with the 8400gs. Integrated solutions are for situations where you write of gaming entirely.

    6. I don't know how much an LED screen will cost in your country but it was definitely worth it for me. Compared to a CCFL screen the LED gives better contrast and color saturation (At least that's the impression I got when I compared my screen with a class-mate's.)
