Ah, I remember reading something along those lines before. Time will tell!
-
Emm nice one, and engadget stole the page again...
-
-
It just might be....
-
I have updated more pics of m1330 in #1th
http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=132965 -
It looks much nicer in black than that faded red color.
-
I don't believe that red accurately portrays the color.
looks horrendously washed out. -
Yes, one hopes it looks more like the red available on the M1710 and 710 desktop.
-
Looks nice but doesn't seem like I am selling my M1210 anytime soon...
-
how in the world do they assume you can plug speakers into this thing, have a cord wrap around the entire machine???
-
More pics added
Rehosted -
On the right side of the machine what are the two sliders/buttons for? One might be for eject but what would the other be for?
-
Nobody comment about the HDMI port? Dell came to their sense in the XPS but lost it for the 1720 / 1420 etc etc?
Bummer....and it looks gorgeous........I want it..... -
I heard from a Chinese marketing representative,M1330 have usb-port *5.The photographs' description are not exactly like reality. For differentiating m1210,m1330 be sure that it to be no low for the fixed price .
His plain words is(Chinese characters):
"USB*5,外形基本就是这个样子的,但是具体接口不准确(指照片中所展现的,而且为了区别于1210,定价绝对不低的"

I found the loudspeaker.Once I believe it do not have a loudspeaker.
two loudspeakers place at a slope angle between screen and base.It is consummate designing I think -
thanks for sharing pics with us

We can learn more from other country, and I also learn some useful infomations from your topic.Mutual benefit is mutually beneficial. -
only two USB ports???!!!
-
Is this considered a business laptop?
Best,
ilham -
XPS are not business, latitude is. AT the end of the day, any machine can be anything :|
loving the HDMI, nice touch -
I'll be the first to say it: I don't like the new design. It looks too much like a mini XPS... which it is.
Ah well. Wasn't planning on getting one anyway -
Heres what i said in another topic about the side photo...
"HDMI and VGA... Anyone actually like that idea? I know there are DVI to VGA adapters, and HDMI is essentially DVI + digital audio, so couldnt they have just included a break-out cable that converts the HDMI port to a VGA port? Move the HDMI port where it is now, to where the VGA port is, and use that new space to add another USB port?
Maybe i'm being anal, but there is not a lot of port space in an ultra portable notebook... Especially when they use that hinge design, so you would think they would take out any and all redundant/unnecessary ports."
The fact that they still have a legacy port on this thing seems wrong. Plus, what would you rather carry around with you? a small dongle that would convert HDMI to VGA(which most people would only use at their desk or for hooking up to projectors, so it woudnt be used often) or a USB hub? I'm sure i'll use a 3rd USB port more often then i would the VGA... -
I think m1210 looks better.. but I still prefer a 13.3 notebook...
mmmm seems not rotating webcam.. 2 USB ??!?!? -
Cam_86: Unfortunately you can't convert HDMI to VGA like that. HDMI is digital, VGA is analogue. DVI is both, so can be converted to either, but you can't convert HDMI to VGA "via" DVI.
It's a pity, but I'm not sure what else Dell could have done. Make their own proprietary mini-connector? Ugh. -
Looks worse than the first renders, but it might be the unflattering type of pictures. I still prefer my SZ over this one, but it's good they are getting some competition. Especially the SSD drive and HDMI are nice..

Jayayess1190 Waiting on Intel Cannonlake
-
I believe those pictures do not represent the machine well. If you look at them, the M1330 looks like a square whereas the ones shown on Engadget looks very rectangular.
-
I want to run the M1330 with the Dell 30" LCD, which only has one DVI-D port. Will doing a HDMI->DVI-D adapter to the LCD allow me to go 2560 x 1600?
-
Yes, HDMI is just a digital audio and video port. DVI is digital video. You can get cheap HDMI>DVI adapters.
-
-
Again, there is no plausible way to connect speakers to this thing. . . What a stupid design. . . .
-
-
yeah, on the M1210 it's in the front as well. No complaints.
-
-
-
-
I shouldn't even be complaining about a dock anyways, that's what my D630 is for.
I'll probably still buy this.
It's a toss up between this or the new Dell XT (amazing machine!) -
Won't you just look at that shiny, glossy, dark screen! You will look pretty, wouldn't you.
-
-
Thats their new Core 2 Duo based ultraportable tablet pc.
-
Oh right. Guess I didn't realize they had named it.
-
so sad to see only 2 USB ports. Plus the speakers out-put from the front side...
but over all, have a really nice design -
watch the video, it's a sexy little machine. -
I think it looks like a cheese wedge. I am quite dissapointed after all the hype over this thing. I do like that it as the same Disk Drive as the mac but thats bout it.
-
Yeah, I watched that video when it was released. Too bad they didn't do the same for the M1330, hah.
-
And wheres the bling? No XPS logo on touch pad! Thats rubbish! Dell could have done so much better on this! Although i do like the finger print reader thing!
-
Is it me or i cant see a optical drive in any pic :S
And i think the red color looks awesome, its kinda funky -
It's a slot loading optical drive. It's on the right side of the notebook.
-
I found it i guess, above the usb port
