Today I woke up and turned on my Dell M1330 with LED screen and it just shows an all white screen from the moment the power is turned on. I can't see the BIOS or anything.

Windows appears to work still, because i blindly logged in and I now am writing this using my Sharp Aquos TV via HDMI. Anyone has any clue what might be happening?

May be the LCD cable is loose.

if it becomes more frequent/wont turn on at all/it cycles through colors/you get green lines you might need a mobo replacement. I had to get one after having mine for a couple weeks. No problems since though

The Dell on-site tech showed up today with a replacement motherboard and that didn't do the trick. They're ordering another screen for me and will be back on Wednesday to replace it. I'll report back on how it goes then.

Technician showed up today and all is well again.

On the upside, the replacement screen is grain-free!

On the downside, it has 1 stuck pixel.

Try massaging it with a pencil eraser, might get it unstuck.

I'm not sure if you're serious or not...

    @ SuperCM
Too bad about the pixel. Would really bug me. Is it covered under warranty?

I think he's serious. If you massage dead pixels, they sometimes become unstuck.
