    How do i overclock nvidia geforce Go 7400 on dell xps m1210.
    What do i need and where do i get them???? how do you overclock and at what rate do you increase memory and clock speed?.

    You can use a program such as Rivatuner, just google it and you can download it for free, it is freeware.

    your best bet is cool bits, it unlocks lots of hidden goodies in the nv control panel, including a very good overclocking utility, it even has an option to self test for optimal settings

    Not too sure why you would want to overclock a notebook card, I know a few people do but it seems dumb to me, because the laptop is going to be easy to overheat since its compact. Otherwise, the advice in this thread is good. I would suggest getting a desktop to overclock with.

    do the above mentioned programs also allow underclocking of the gpu? will the power consumption be noticeably different if you use some 3rd party app to underclock versus using the nvidia powermizer settings? thanks.

    Don’t expect great performance leaps by overclocking that card. I’d rather leave it at stock speed cos the risk of damaging graphics adapter / overheating is not worth the negligible performance increase.
