    Hi,
I formatted and installed Windows XP MCE using Dell reinstallation media.
I have a E1505. I downloaded and installed the drivers for everthing but the audio. When I install the driver for Creative Audigy Advanced it says "No input device found". The Device Manger shows following entries under
Sound video and game controllers -
    Audio Codecs
    Legacy Audio Drivers
    Legacy Video Capture Devices
    Media Control Devices
    Video Codecs
I tried updating the driver pointing to the ones I had downloaded. However it says that the best drivers for the current h/w are already installed.
Any suggestions about what I could do?
    Thanks

You have to install the sigmatel drivers first. Then install the sounds blaster drivers. Sound blaster is only software, so the actual drivers for the hardware is the Sigmatel.
