Can anyone tell me, if they have eared that static may cause (crackling and popping sound) while listening to an Audio CD or MP3 music from the HD? I ask because I have to determine if that annoying problem is a hardware problem or static problem with my Dell Studio 1735. Last week Dell change my DVD-/+RW burner because it stop turning twice while the head try to read data. But before the change it did played music CD with that snap crackle and pop sound like I was listening to vinyl disk, if some one did witness that sound issues. Your help is welcome !
