    Is it possible to get like a spare case/chassis for an e1705? Cause I want to paint my lappy, but i also dont want to void my warranty. So i'd like to have a clean one to swap out incase I have to ship it in to Dell. Any idea's?

    I would look on Ebay you could probably find one, maybe a broken laptop that you could perhaps take the parts out off or ask the seller if he would sell the chassis alone.

    The e1705 is to new for you to find a case on ebay.

    If there aren't cases, you could buy a broken one on eBay - I bet they won't be too hard to find before long. Then since you only need the case, you can sell all the working parts for a heafty chunk of change on eBay.
