    Spare batteries

    Has anyone tried ordering a spare battery for their new Inspiron or XPS systems? I've been trying to and it wont let me order the ones I want. I have to use my Service Tag to even get to the site to order batteries and that only gives me the option of ordering the same kind of battery that packaged with my laptop.

    I'm letting a friend have the XPS for the same price I got it for, and I know she'd much rather have the 6-cell. But I can only re-order the same 9-cell as of now.

    It's the same case with my Inspiron.

    If you're having problems with the site, I would call Dell Sales directly to deal with the issue more effectively.
