So I am wondering if the miracle LG screen is only a fix for the 15 inch laptops...

14 inch owners please chime in on whether you have screen grain and which panel you have. I am curious as to whether we are at all in the same ballpark as the 15 inchers.

For examples of how screen grain looks, check this post

I had some pretty bad grain on an AUO1644 (WXGA) and I have a tiny bit of grain on a SEC3157 (WXGA).

I also think that the miracle LG screens seem to apply only to 1500/1520 users. It seems to be the drawn of the individual screen with the 1400/1420s.

So there is NO ONE that has had a successful 14.1" LG display restored?
