Ok. I got this SpeedFan thing and it's measuring my CPU temp... fine, good.

But I was just wondering 2 things:

-Why is it that when i'm playing City of Heroes/Villains and Matrix Online, it reads (typically) 55C and it shows a Fire symbol next to it. The fan for my laptop (1520) doesn't even come on until it hits 60C. So i'm just wondering why it shows that symbol as if it's getting radically hot.

-How do I get it to read my Graphics Card? I can't use nTune since I'm using vista and don't know of any other program to use.

Also, earlier I received an update from Norton. It sat there for 15 minutes saying "receiving patch", and it caused my CPU temp to hit 60C and stay there. So after being tired of waiting, I shut down my computer and started it back up. It went from 55C from the start, but it's now back down to 36 as I type. I was wondering if that was normal from norton.

you could manually change that option, in the settings. I have it that my fans automatically kick in at 40c. and you should be able to get a rid out of your video card. I know i do!
Norton since I ever started with computers back in 1994. I hate it!, Norton is a memory eater and a cpu spiker. have your taskmanager open and you would see what program is taking up or is "active" also you would be able to check your cpu usage.

Norton is a really heavy anti-virus. I wouldn't be surprised if it shortened battery lives by half an hour or more.
