    apparently she said ALL orders are being delayed due to the lack of LCD screens. It is delayed for 9 business days. First it was the lids that were delaying me and I had to reorder a black lid. Now ALL the LCD screens are delaying the orders and I can't change my screen to anything else. Anyone else spoke with a representative recently? What was their reason for the delay?

    I'm so glad I'm done with this. I canceled my 1520 and ordered a Toshiba Satellite X205 from Amazon. Spend a bit more, but the 8700M GT is a rocking card. Also dual hard drives are nice. Ordered on Sunday, received on Wednesday! :p

    damn thats a nice machine.. not sure i want to spend that much.. but wow.. i love toshiba's myself... mybe ill have to check them out.. im giving dell the benefit of the doubt one more time and its boxing now so i should have it soon.. if this one sucks they are both going back... thanks for the link

    anyone know any deals on toshiba's now.. that i can build???

    It's always been the colors and will remain the colors. Dell is lying to keep from looking stupid. What may be changing is that they're starting to make sure the reps tow the line that it's a global LCD shortage.

    $2400 for the Toshiba? dang, you spent 2.4X as much. Looks like a nice laptop though.

    Maybe all you guys should re-order and drop the hot pink lids?
