    sup,
    i just got my i6000d (specs in sig) and whenever i try to wake it up from stand by the computer turns on, i can hear the hdd and fan etc, but the moniter stays off. then i have to hold down the power button and turn it off then turn it back on,,

    it is really annoying

    any suggestions?

    I would say updating the screen drivers. Also if possible, maybe do a remformat if you havent done one or do one again. Its always a good idea to do a reformat on dell. I think that would fix it.

    i already tried those and the driver for my screen is the microsoft default monitor so i cant updaate it. any other help?

    are you talking about the LCD Screen or external monitor?
