    Status Accuracy Way Off

    1st Post so bear with me if I put it in the wrong place, or if it should have been placed in a sticky.

    So I ordered a M1530 on April 26th... Now I've learned to tolerate the long time I'm going to have to wait for the process. But one of the items I added on in the build was the X-Fi Sound Card. Now according to the Dell Rep I talked to on the phone, this item was on backorder and I was going to have to wait a long time. The website and phone number both said ESD of late July. Well I Just received the card. My question is, is Dell really months off when it comes to their ESD? Or did I just get lucky... If thats the case, I wouldn't be against my laptop showing up soon :p

    ESDs are always worst-case scenario. Much better to set the bar low and make it, rather than set the bar high and fail.

    Would you rather them tell you that you'll get it tomorrow and not receive it for 2 months?

    I guess your right... Well I have my sound card... now just need a lap top to put it in...
