    First of all, reading this forum is what made me pull the trigger on getting an Inspiron 1520, so thanks everyone. :) I ordered it on 8/5 and it quickly went into production and was stuck in the build phase until today. My paranoia had me calling the 800 number several times a day.

    Today, at about 4:00, my laptop was in the kitting phase and just now, at 9:40, it was in the boxing phase. Not sure when it was moved into boxing though. Hopefully, this is a good thing and it will ship tomorrow, but after reading all of the horror stories on here, I'm not getting my hopes up.

    I ordered an Inspiron 1520, T7300, 2gb Ram, glossy 1680x1050, 256MB Nvidia 8600M GT, 7200 RPM HD. I also got the Jet black color.

    I'll keep you all posted.

    Whats the 1800 number to check status? I ordered the same thing as you on the same day.

    Nvm I found it, mines in the build stage still, I ordered the same thing as you but got the 1440*900 screen.
