    Hi everybody,

As everybody probably knows Vista doesn't support/have Stereo Mix, so in order to get it to work I followed a guide from somewhere (could of been here) that linked to other Sigmatel drivers and then installed them in XP compatibility mode, however, having done that i've now totally lost the use of the inbuilt mic...has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way of fixing this or am I limited to having one or the other?

Thanks if anyone can shed some light on this for me

There is no issue with Vista and Stereo mix. It's just an issue of certain drivers locking out stereo mix functionality.
