I ordered my maxed out E1705 two days ago, on June 7. 2 days later, today, it is still In Production. It has not even started the Kitting, Build, Testing, or Boxing. The estimated shipping date is June 15, but if it still has to go through Kitting, Build, Testing, and Boxing, how will they be able to ship it on the 15th? I have heard that Boxing alone take 2-3 days. Is this normal? How long have your laptops been in the "In Production" stage - Just In Production, not Kitting, Build, Testing, or Boxing.

Yes, usually "Boxing" stage takes 2-3 days. But I guess they haven't updated the system yet. So it might be in other stages, but didn't show you so. Wait for 1-2 days, it will be shipped before June 15. It takes 4-5 days to ship and 2-3 days to arrive.

Thanks for the feedback. It says this information is current as of Friday, June 09, 2006, which is today. Hopefully what you said is true. Anyone else have any thoughts about this? Any help would be appreciated.

It should not be much longer. I ordered a 1705 almost maxed on Monday and it was shipped yesterday. I can't see your order being in production much longer.
-
Really? Wow that was fast. Do you know how many days your system was "In Production"?
-
It went into production on Tuesday and shipped Thursday. I did however, get my order 'rushed' because my previous order was cancelled. Not sure how much of a difference it made though.

Oh I see. Thanks for the help.
