To make a long story short, I have been on the phone three (3!) times with Dell Technical Support and now have these re-install CDs to show for it:

    1. Win XP Pro SP2
    2. Dell Tools (anti-virus trials, etc.)
    3. Dell System Software (diagnostics, (old) device drivers...)
    4. CyberLink PowerDVD 5.5
    5. Sonic MyDVD 5.3 LE and RecordNow 7.3 LE

What's missing: Sonic DigitalMedia (most likely with 'LE' at the end of the name) - I know the 700m came with that, but I'm not sure exactly what it offers over and above the other two (I've already wiped the hd).

So here's the question. What exactly is DigitalMedia LE, and is it worth pursuing, or no big steal?

As far as I have been able to research, it may have their Easy Archive (for backing up to cd/dvd) and/or other additional utilities. Can anyone say for sure?

    Thanks for any responses.
