    Hey guys,

Im thinking about getting an M1530 soon so ive been messing with configurations on the dell website. However, I've noticed differences in prices, depending on what link I customize the 1530 from....

As you can see, customizing the 1530 with the same specs comes up with totally different prices depending on what option you choose from this page. What the heck is going on?

Also, if you select 'gaming' instead of 'XPS' on the main laptop screen, its much more expensive then if you were to select 'XPS' and configure it the same. Is there any difference between the gaming xps and the regular one?

There is no difference, I have found that by playing around I could save up to $800 (NZD, so about $635 USD). It's been the same thing for the 3 Dells I have ordered (2 laptops, 1 desktop).

No surprise here, notice that on the best configuration they have $599 off, now if you were to get the good configuration and apply $350 off coupon it is $1424 but you loose the 3-Year warranty against the best configuration.

They do it in order to give you an impression that you are getting a good ideal. However, if you look at it closely, you can see that the prices are always very similar (for the same configuration and warranty).
