    Hi all,

I have some strange problem on my Vista Ultimate machine using Microsoft 5000 series bluetooth mouse. The thing is that it was working before on the same machine and OS, which I decided to reinstall.

So I reinstall Vista, everything seems to be correct .. I see the stuff for bluetooth of my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop in device manager(Dell Truemobile 355 Bluetooth +EDR, Microsoft bluetooth enumerator). Vista reports the drivers are up to date, the bluetooth of the laptop is turned on, the batteries are charged. In control panel I don't see bluetooth manager, also the bluetooth icon sometimes disappears from the tray. When I try to add a bluetooth device the OS doesn't find any.

I put again the installation DVD and start the setup program .. surprise, the mouse works during installation. But once installed I log in the system and the mouse is still not working.

Do you have any suggestions what's causing this strange behavior ?
    Thanks in advance
