Hello, I am a little worried about my dell latitude d620, purchased about 3 weeks ago. I have been very happy with the laptop till a few days ago when I noticed a change in the usual set of noises the d620 admits.

The new contender is a click and whirl sound from the bottom left portion of the laptop. One hears a muted click, a quick whirl and then a 15 second pause before the cycle repeats.

Could this be the hard drive? What is going on? Sending the laptop in would be a huge inconvenience as i start school soon, so is it worth ignoring? Is it causing damage? Is there a quick fix?
