just bought a inspiron 15r and it seems to have a stuck/dead pinkish red pixel, you can see it on white and light colors but not on black,it's a little dot on the left hand side near the edge of the screen, what do i do about this? i got it from qvc.com as their Xmas special the specs are-
    intel Core i3 370M 2.40ghz,3mb cache
    500gb hard drive
    8x cd/dvd burner/player
6gb ddr3 ram intel hd graphics
    emerald green color
they are sold out so an exchange wouldn't come right away and i can not be without a laptop as i do my home business and everything else on it,i don't have a back up right now, should i worry about 1 stuck pixel?,i've tried rubbing it and running pixel fixer software over it,still there
not sure what to do.Any suggestions or help greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check the warranty to see if it qualifies for a replacement. IIRC, there was a minimum of three dead/stuck pixels to get a replacement for it. If you still have time, you may want to just take it back to the store under the store returns policy.
