A couple of days ago I took my xps M1330 out of its bag, and the delete key was kinda stuck, almost impossible to press down. I decided to give Dell a call, so turned the machine upside down to read the service tag. After that the delete key worked again.
I called Dell about it, and at first they offered to send me a replacement keyboard, to have like "standby" if it gets weird again, but after a couple of hours they called back and said they couldn't do that, since the keyboard "fixed itself", and that they have to send a techie guy, since its an XPS.
I'm a little concerned it will get weird again, and maybe not as easy to sort next time.
Anyone had similar keyboard issues ?

I haven't had similar keyboard issues but it's always nice to have a spare keyboard :p.

would there have been a chance that something was stuck under the Key - when you turned the laptop upside down it fell out?

Pfft! I have an XPS and I just replaced the whole LCD cover. Just because you have an XPS doesn't mean you can't fix it yourself.

Hehe thats what they said. I'd rather swap it myself, since I dont have time to be at home for him to come by anyway. I actually repaired Dell laptops like 10 years ago.
