    Studio 14 just showed up on Dell India Website


    Configuration is more or less like Inspiron range .Just has the Studio design..

    Specs are fail. 1280x800 non LED screen and no Centrino 2? Though it looks like it could be thin.

    Looks like they have changed it a bit and now you have to call to order. Maybe the site will be updated later to allow full customization. I am surprised they are introducing this model so late without any upgrades.

    I wish there were more pics of this other than the front profile of it.
    it might be one of those laptops that may appear thin, but is pretty thick in the back

    Well, it is the same form as the Studio 15 and 17, just at 14 inches. So, it will be a wedge like the other ones.

    Yeah .....Also the customize link isn't working :eek:..and we need to call for the prices ...even the specs perfectly match those of inspiron ...and fall below the studio 15 :confused: ....
    seems like Del started this one to get rid of the excess 14.1 inch LCD screens as the 1420 wasn't selling all that great :D

    Hi I am from India, Dell just released their Studio 14. I need to buy one, is this particular model is good for continuous operation? I always keep my laptop switched on 24/7. Pls let me know ur thoughts.

    If it is anything like my Studio 15 then it is fine to leave on 24/7. The only time mine has been turned off is when I transport it.

    I leave my 1530 on 24/7 now, and only shut down..when I am away for a long period of time! No prob's at all! ;)
