Alright, ordered my studio 15 long ago, got caught in the delays, and received it early Sept. (despite getting ranges of arrival from early Aug to late Sept.).

Excellent machine, I've had no flaws except in one area...
The keyboard keys like to stick... but they aren't physically sticking as far as i can tell. It has been like this out of the box. It has happened maybe once or twice when simply typing a school paper or the like, but it happens hardcore when doing any type of game. All keys (except space and the arrow keys :/ ) will stick maybe 50% of the time. I run around in any FPS and if i stop, i keep running. Any jumps in Stepmania can cause the sticking, no matter which keys I map to, save again the arrow keys.

I have tried talking with Dell reps for solutions, and after two calls of people who dont know flip about what they are doing, I've given up on them. I did get a "critical" BIOS update but absolutely nothing has changed through the update.
I have tried upgrading and reinstalling the keyboard drivers, also to no avail.
I also did a quick keyboard clean, despite the machine being as ive said out of the box.

I have simply dealt with it up until now, and I am about to lose my mind. Doubt ill ever get another dell, if this is my first experience. Great machine... but... seems everyone has some sort of unresolved issue... and forget dell's services...

    ANY suggestions out there?
(sorry for long post, I just want to get it all out there)

I have a Studio 15 with a similar problem (but it only happens in Windows XP.) There's already a thread about Studio laptops with keyboards sticking.

http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=310037 (it's for the Studio 17 but the two systems share parts and, obviously, similar problems.)

Hope you find some helpful info there.

Hi Wulven, i started the other thread regarding this (the one KingRaptor links too) and the only thing i found works is turning off Ati2evxx.exe in your Taskmanager OR hitting Num Lk on your keypad, i dont know if the 15's come with a keypad but the num lk key should be there somewhere. Im from Sweden so our keyboard layout differs from yours im afraid.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers!
