    Hello.I have Studio 1535 standart model!
    Can I replace my original Dell Wireless WLAN 1397 Half MiniCard (4312bg) with INTEL 3945ABG/MINIPC 802.11ABG?!

    3945 is a full-height WLAN Mini-PCIe whereas the Dell Wireless 1397 card is only half-height...this Mini-PCIe wouldn't fit into your half-height WLAN spot although you could fit it and has been confirmed to work in either the WPAN or WWAN slots if unused.


    Better choice would be the following draft-N half-height WLAN's which would be a direct replacement and upgrade to your current Dell Wireless 1397 card:

    Intel 5300 will be better choose, but Dell's prices really killing me.
    In my country for example "3945 is a full-height WLAN Mini-PCIe" is only 10 EURO.
    Sadly We don't have here Intel 5100 or Intell 5300 avalible :(

    I'm from Bulgaria.In EUROPA.
    Looks like this WireLess Card is suppos to be only for USA....
    Oh not only but primary for USA....
    and I don't have CC by the way...

    I'm just looking for solution.Because I have horrible cracle sound.
    My wireless card was replaced but with the same Dell 1397.
    My motherboard (on board - Ati Radeon, Sound Card,Lan Card) was replaced too.
    I have strange clicking from my HDD:

    But I doubt it affect my sound card.

    I tried different Windows version - the same crackle sound.
