Anyone else having problems with the SD card reader?

Everytime i plug in an SD card the system Blue Screen's on me. This is running XP. So far iv'e tried these 2 versions of drivers..

    v3.54.05

    and

    v3.51.01

one thing, During trying different drivers I once plugged in my SD card while no drivers were installed, the system still BlueScreened on me.

The first thing I did when getting the system was wipe-off Vista. I dont know if this Ricoh card reader works or not in Vista, but im starting to wonder if I have some sort of hardware problem.

Have you tried using drivers available on Windows Update?

I think the card reader is kind of crappy, but for a long time mine didn't work at all and then out of the blue it started to work again.
