I love my 2 day old Studio 15 but the webcam takes really bad pictures and videos. They are very unclear. Would anyone mind posting a few photos or videos they have taken with theirs so i can compare! Thanks.

I don't have a studio but I took this pic on my XPS for you. I am assuming they use exactly the same webcams. 2.0 Megapixel ones.

This was set to the highest res when I took the pic and it came out a lot better, but photobucket reduced it down to 1024x768 resolution. Your pics should look atleast as good as this. At the full resolution the quality is noticeably sharper.

Did you set resolution to the highest? You can find this at the bottom left under the webcam view if you are using the Dell webcam manager.

Thanks for taking that pic. By Dell webcam manager you mean Dell webcam central? Thats what I have. My photos don't come out as clear as yours, even at high resolution. My Logitech quickcam pro takes much better photos. Thanks,

Yup the 2 mega pixel webcam is quite clear, but it does need proper lighting too, my pictures came out very grainy when the light wasnt enough. But if adequate light is there, pictures are crystal clear.
