    No, it doesn't. That is a lot of money wasted on stuff you don't need. You can configure one here: Studio 15 (1558) Laptop | Dell with what you need and only what you need and save hundreds of dollars. One improvement I recommend over the one selling at Costco is to upgrade to a 1080p screen.

    If it wasnt a mail in rebate and you were paying 1199.00 flat out then it wouldnt be a bad deal.

    Would save you about $45 off of Dells price for the same setup.

    Thanks! For clarification, it wasn't a mail-in rebate - it's an instant discount. I thought the price looked okay - especially given the extra year of warranty - but it's true that the machine is probably a bit much for my needs. Still, I like to buy high-end specs so it hopefully will last a few extra years. Thanks for the feedback.
