    hey red wine.. thanks - you have been really helpful. my decision : wait for pc fair - dell most prob will have hot(ter) deals as they had in the first pc fair this year.

    off topic a little ...
    maybe i'm wrong but on 64bit... i guess if i opt for 4gb ram... i might not need to opt for 64bit....
    1. core 2 duo processor meaning - 2 processors.... so 2gb for each processor... which basically vista32 is utilising all the 4g ram... (perhaps if 8g ram... then x64 better?)

    2. will be using cisco vpn - doesnt run on 64bit...

    3. lastly - i'm jinxed :p .. i wrecked at least 1 pc when trying to format and upgrade/change OS.... so i might be just brave enough to reformat to remove bloatwares if i get one studio15 soon. ( :p i wrecked my tablet OS when i tried to clean bloatwares/spywares via registry.... told u i'm jinxed...)

    looking forward to the weekend.... hehe

    erm shopping at dell is like the stock market...
    seems that the pc fair dell deal is not better that the deal before. for the same specs, it's a few hundred more expensive.

    so.. i will continue waiting... cross fingers they will have better deal @ merdeka weekend.

    i got it from the Dell website.. which part of the world do you come from? because the information given on the website may vary from place to place..
