Well i finally got my Studio 15. So far I really really like it.
I am just going to address the issues people have been having with the laptop for the moment.

Audio: The speakers sound fine to me. The sound quality is exactly what I would expect from base laptop speakers. The are clear but have no low end. As for the cracking sound. Yew mine did have it, I noticed every time I would access something on the net it would "skip". I used this http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=194986 and disabled my wireless a and now the cracking is gone.

Keyboard: Yes there is keyboard flex but i would have never noticed it if it was not for this message board. During normal typing I do not notice it at all. I actually like the feel of the keyboard a lot. The back lighting is awesome. It has 3 settings, bright, dim and off.

Fan: Seems to work as it should. Makes very little sound. Only runs when needed. Overall the notebook seems to run very cool. There is less heat then my dads dell Inspiron 2200

Optical Drive: It is a little noisy when you load or eject a disc but no more so then a multi disc in dash CD changer is in a car. The one thing I did notice is that you have to push the disc in about 80% of the way before the drive sucks it in. That seemed a little odd to me. I can see how you could accidentally put two discs in.

The laptop itself seems very well built. Yes it is plastic but it feels solid to me. The fingerprint scanner works well once you get used to it. The track pad I am still getting used to. At first I hated it but now as I use it more and I mess with the settings I am growing to like it. The LED display is great. Buy it and never look back, even at the dimmest setting the screen is bright and clear.

Windows Vista is driving me crazy. I don't know where anything is or how to do anything. I feel like I am starting all over again with PC's.

I will update this as I use it more. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will answer as best as I can

You can say that again !!!!

So I take it that u don't have Dell 1397 WiFi Card? (I have 1397 and its really crazy, it creates way more disturbance in audio when a CD/DVD is played compared to when a stored stuff is played.
