My Studio 15 arrive and I found that the touchpad doesn't have the scroll areas draw in it, but they work as if they were. Is this a design issue?

If you look closely you will see the scroll areas outlined in white, they are barely visible on my touchpad. Maybe they didn't imprint them on later builds?
-
Surely not the best picture but if you look closely, you could see that there aren't in my touch!!!
PS: wow, you have the same configuration of my studio 15!

Dell is awesome...
If it worries you that much give the tech line a ring or chat and they'll replace the touchpad for you. -
Thanks!
I don't know if I want my 3 day notebook disassemble to replace the touchpad. Maybe cause I paid a lot of money I could get something extra because of this error? -
zenzei did u ever get the patterned touchpad?

This person is right. My older earlier build of Dell Studio had the graphite lines and scroll areas. My newer one no longer has the graphite pattern and white lines. Just a different design. There's no problem. Don't contact Dell. -
My has the lines!
I use Microsoft Wireless Notebook Mouse 4000!
Logitech has now amazing new mouse but I already has MS!
Go for MS or Logitech (with discrete USB) - they are both better than default touch pad! -
I ordered my Studio 1535 in August, and it has the white markings on the touchpad scroll areas. I almost never use the touchpad, though. I find it much more convenient to carry a small USB mouse, and the touchpad has always been rather ADD for me.
