My wife has been wanting a new laptop, and I'm leaning towards a Studio 15 with the Radeon HD3450 for her (in Flamingo Pink, no less).

The only game she plays is the Sims 2, and when it comes out she wants to play the Sims 3.

You guys think the HD3450 w/ 256mb RAM will be able to hack it with the Sims 3?

Yep, you should have no problem running those games on the Studio 15.
