im customizing one on the website right now and was a bit confused about something.

With the cpu options it shows this:
    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5850 (2.16GHz/667Mhz FSB/2MB cache)

but... on windows configurations, the T5850 always is 800Mhz FSB... same with T5750 (which isnt on the windows pages but T5800 is). could this be a typo? or can ubuntu not handle 800mhz? but there are other more expensive options with 800mhz T8100 and T9300.

Anyone have personal experience with the studio and ubuntu?
How much cheaper is the system without Vista? its hard to tell cause the base systems on the windows pages are all different.

It can handle it, Dell just decides to restrict which options are available on each configuration. You will see the same thing between Dell online shops in different countries. They may just only to supply certain components for simplicity's sake.
