    Studio 15: Cannot return from Standby

    Hi All,

    My first post (and hopefully my last :p ) and a proud owner of a Studio 15..which i find to be one of my best buys.

    Anyways i'm having a problem and i hope that someone can help me out.

    When ever my laptop goes to standby i can mostly never get it back to life! is there some key to hit or? usually moving the mouse gets it back on!

    My system is running on a freshly installed Windows XP SP3.

    The Studio 15 is meant to use Vista, not XP, so that is why you might have some driver issues.

    It seems that the Studio 15 doesn't play well with XP. I have the same problem when using XP (Vista works fine.)

    atbnet is probably right, some driver is causing a problem.

    there are a lot of threads out here with similar problems ......seems studio 15 loves its sleep :D
