I Have a new Dell Studio 1535. The problem is when I press the eject button (from the keyboard) the computer freezes for a few seconds.
The music doesnt sound and the video stops.
Sometimes, the dvd player reads without a cd inside and this freeze the audio too. Is very disappointing and shows that dell does not use good pieces.
Has someone the same problem? Its possible to solve?
I install XP and the problem continue.

Mine works fine.

Play one mp3 with WinAmp and press eject button (keyboard touch button). The music still sound all the time?

Hmm actually i just reinstalled my computer using ata mode for sata instead of ahci and it does blip a little when pressing it. Maybe this is part of it? I dont really see it as a problem...how often do you really eject disks?
