I am still undecided whether to get the Studio 15 or not.
For those with a recent 15 purchase, how do you feel the sound and picture quality is?
Second question. What is the Inspiron model number which would be closest in the Dell lineup to the 15?

1 - The sound quality on the Studio is not good, tinny and bad base similar to many other notebooks.

The video on the other hand is excellent, especially if you order the 1440x900WLED or 1900x1200.

    2 - The similar Inspiron is the 15-inch Inspiron...1520 I think.

they are not as good as the upgrades (obviously) but still compared to other standard screen on other laptops they are at or slightly above par.

That makes me think of another question. Is there a good choice is bluetooth speakers which be easily set up to give good sound? I used to think the built in speakers on my desktop were good until I played a movie.
They are pretty good, but the sound volume is extremely low.
