OK, got myself the Studio 1525 and 2x Kingston 2GB DDR2 800MHz.
CPU, the T9100 2.5GHz 800mhz FSB.
The idea was to run the CPU at 800mhz FSB at 1:1 alongside the memory.
Dell only gives 667mhz DDR2....
Are these readings right:

I'm just curious if the notebook is running at 100% potential speed.

Nope it isn't. Tough luck pal.
First, your DRAM frequency is still read as 332.5Mhz. (Double-Data-Rate, therefore clocked at 667Mhz effective speed) A standard 800-DDR2 chip runs at 400Mhz DRAM Frequency. This is downclocked.
Secondly, CPU FSB running at 800Mhz and RAM Frequency running at 667Mhz is not really that bad as it is. Yes, some might say 1:1 is the "best", but not really a necessity to achieve especially on a notebook. And there has been numerous debates about having a 1:1 ratio. Tests have shown that 667 - 800 memory isn't much justified for a real performance increase. But nevertheless, it does not support DDR2-800.
In other thread I created, certain Santa Rosa chipsets may able to recognize and use up to 6 - 8GB of RAM partially because of the BIOS. But when it comes to RAM frequencies, no. 667MHz is the highest support Santa Rosa platforms can take on. Anything more than that, it downclocks itself. Many have tried, and they can't.
You should have probably researched about this first before you bought the RAM, huh? -
ag there was like a 10% difference in the price, between 667 and 800mhz, so no real issue.
but if the chipset itself limits the memory speed to 667... then toughluck.
im just curious why the fsb is it at 800mhz then...
